Suicide Prevention Lifeline. If in doubt, call this number.
NAMI: National Alliance on Mental Illness. After my diagnosis, this was one of the first sites that, for me, became a lifeline of information.
Alcoholics Anonymous. Another priceless site, not only for addiction, but for those of us with mental illness, codependency, and “adult children” disorder.
Hazelden. I honestly can’t stress how awesome a resource Hazelden is. Love their Thought for the Day page (you can sign up for daily emails) which include six different meditations on Alcoholism, Codependency, Overeating, Family Life, Women’s, and Men’s Issues. Their bookstore is also very extensive and worth perusing.
